My Favourite Thing

Create a timeless bedtime story capable of speaking both to children and to the parents who cherish them.

Many children's stories are built around external achievement: finding treasure, defeating villains, or proving one's worth. Brooke wanted to ask a quieter question: what if the thing we're searching for has been with us all along?

The story was written years before it found its visual form. Brooke recorded and produced a cinematic narration track in 2021, then later adapted the project into an animated short—conceiving its visual direction, producing the narration, and building a richly illustrated modern fable.

It is both a standalone animated experience and the basis for a future illustrated storybook.
