Across more than fifty episodes, Brooke used cinematic narration, travel misadventure, comedy, vulnerability, and philosophy to examine identity, relationships, creativity, spirituality, fatherhood, sexuality, and the awkward business of becoming more human.

The series refused to make its creator the hero of every story or to tidy away contradiction. It was written, narrated, edited, and produced across several years as part memoir, part travelogue, and part late-night conversation with an old friend who has seen some things.
